Just 4 km from the house, this restaurant specialises in wood-fired grills. It is located in the old town of Remoulins, opposite the church, in the guard room of the 12th-century castle.
What we like: wood-fired oven cooking in the village square of Remoulins, take the time to stroll along the banks of the Gardon river.

On the site of the Pont du Gard, 5 km from the house, this restaurant is ideally situated, with a lovely view of the building. Les Terrasses offers traditional dining and Mediterranean cuisine (100% home-made, local seasonal produce, mostly organic).
What we like about it: the location and its beautiful view of the Pont du Gard, pedestrian zone. Go early to have time to visit the Pont du Gard site.
Open 7 days a week for lunch from 12 noon to 2.30pm all year round; dinner on Fridays, Saturdays and the eve of public holidays from 7.30pm to 9pm from 08 April to 30 June, then from 1 September to 31 October, and every evening in July and August from 7.30pm to 9pm.

What we like: the location on the banks of the Gardon, the large terrace overlooking the Gardon site. Access can be a little tricky (dirt road) and there are sometimes festive evenings since the change of ownership in 2024 (enquire beforehand).

La Petite Gare is located on the edge of the Voie Verte in Vers Pont du Gard, 9km away, in a former railway station that has been converted into a restaurant, and on certain evenings offers concert dinners.
Why we love it: the location in a former station, where the old railway line has become a cycle path that runs alongside the terrace. Prefer dinner for a quieter atmosphere (close to a busy area).
