Our guest house, L’Ostal, is located in the Gard, very close to the Pont du Gard, less than 4 hours from Geneva, less than 2h30 from Lyon, Grenoble and Perpignan, less than 1h30 from Valence and Marseille…. And very close to the A9 / Remoulins – Pont du Gard motorway exit. Whether you’re coming from the north, south, east or west, it’s easy to get to our house. L’Ostal offers 5 large air-conditioned rooms (from 25 to 40m²). They can accommodate up to 13 people, rooms and suites for 2 and family rooms for 3 and 4 people.
The communal areas, the library, the restaurant, the terrace and the swimming pool area (in season) are perfect for relaxing.
Activities starting from L’Ostal
If you’re more of a nature lover, you can leave the house and follow the hiking trails through the vineyards and olive groves (the best-known of which is the GR 63: chemin Urbain V). A few kilometres further on, you can canoe down to the Gardon river. Alternatively, you can hire bikes and follow the cycle routes (we have the “Accueil vélo” label, so if you bring your own bikes, they’ll be safe).
If you would like to book activities such as canoeing, cycling, horse-drawn carriage rides or a visit to the Pont du Gard, we can put you in touch with our partners and help you book.
If you’re a fan of built heritage, the Pont du Gard and its facilities (museum, garrigue trails, etc.) will take you on a journey back in time. In Uzès, a beautiful town of art and history, you’ll be amazed by the town’s private mansions, the renovation of the town and the Duchy. The town has a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays, which is very popular with locals and tourists alike. In Beaucaire, a Town of Art and History, you can explore the fortress and the troglodyte abbey of Saint Roman… and many other sites to discover…
If you’re a gourmet and interested in culinary tourism, you’ll discover our local produce, traditions, cultures, vineyards and restaurants…

The offer is valid if all 5 rooms are rented on the same dates. Cancellation of a room will cancel the conditions of this offer. Other bookings may be maintained at the usual rate.

To request a quotation, please email us directly at reservation@l-ostal.eu, specifying the number of people, the dates of your stay, the meals you would like and any other specific requests (spa, massages, etc.). We will send you a quote.
The discount will be calculated according to the number of nights booked. And if you wish to pay in two or three instalments, that’s possible (dates to be agreed together depending on the time between booking and the start of your stay).
